Description: Start from the New Sharon Senior Center, 783 Butter and Egg Rd, Hazel Green, AL 35750. Caution, there is a steep, fast descent down Robertson Hollow at 9.2 miles with limited line of sight over the crest, so stay to the right. Rest stops will be at Camargo Church of Christ 15.8 miles and Kirkland Grocery 29.4 miles. We'll climb Clay Jones, Slaterock Mill and Poorhouse. Generally, low traffic and nice roads but as always remain traffic aware.

Expectations: Please make sure you are familiar with the route. Bring a cue sheet and/or navigational device and have the phone numbers of the Ride Leader and the phone number of at least one friend. Be aware that cell phone service can be spotty. Text message may be the best way to communicate during the ride.
Expected end of ride average speed is 14-15 mph but faster on flats and slower on climbs. Generally, riders are expected to stay together and watch out for each other. Be confident you can do the stated speed and distance.
