Title: Gurley, Salty Bottom, Berry Hollow, County Lake, Killingsworth
Distance: 42 miles
Start Location: Gurley City Park, Gurley, AL (NEXT to the library, 225 Walker St)

Description: This is a moderate 42-mile ride that goes to Salty Bottom, Berry Hollow, County Lake, & Killingsworth area. There are multiple ways to return quickly if needed.
It will be a scenic ride and it will strengthen your climbing skills. The cumulative climb for the route is ~1800 ft. There are 5 notable climbs but NO major mountain climb, just lots of hills/rollers. The anticipated average pace is 14-15 (due to the climbs). I would like for everyone to ride as a group.

Rest Stops: County Lake ~20.5 miles & 1 turnaround @ Berry Hollow
The cue sheet and map link for the route is: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28682782
The weather looks possible for an early ride as of NOW. I will monitor the weather. Recommend you check the FB page periodically. Call me if you have any questions.
Bring a cue sheet and/or a navigation device and have the phone number of the Ride Leader and if possible, have the phone number of at least one friend.
Again, this ride has lots of hills/rollers but N0 mountain climb, so be sure you can do the distance at the stated average pace.

If you choose to ride at a much faster pace than the Ride Leader or deviate from the route then you are on your own.
