This is a beautiful moderate ride of 52 miles with an expected average pace of 15-16 mph. The route goes to Sharps Cove, Sharps Hollow and then Upper Hurricane Creek. The route has lots of hills/rollers with a cumulative climb of ~2140 ft, but no mtn climb.

Rest Stops: 1st RS & 2ndRS at Madison County Lake @ 18 Miles & 44 Miles. It also has 4 quick stops (no service) at the end of Sharps Cove, Sharps Hollow, Upper Hurricane Rd, and Dear Trace.

This is a pretty moderate ride of 40 miles with a planned average of 14+/- mph. The route goes to Sharp Cove & Sharp Hollow but does NOT go to Upper Hurricane. Instead it turns South on Hurricane Rd at mile 27.3. The route does have some hills/rollers with a cumulative climb of 1770 ft but no mtn climb.

Rest Stops: 1stRS at Madison County Lake @ 18 miles & 2nd RS Maysville Intersection @ 37 miles. It has 2 quick stops (no service) at Sharps Cove & Sharps Hollow.
The cyclists are expected to ride in a group. If you ride faster than the specified pace then you are on your own. Please be sure you are able to do the stated average pace and distance for the route selected.
Bring a cue sheet and/or a loaded navigational device and have the phone number of the Ride Leaders. It is also recommended that you have the phone number of at least one friend.
Looks like it will be a hot day so bring plenty of fluids.
