Community Affairs Officer: Terry Price

The Spring City Cycling Club promotes and endorses highway, road, street planning, etc. that provides continued access and routes for bike travel and recreation in the Huntsville, Alabama area and across north Alabama.

Please try to attend Thursday City Council meetings at 6 pm downtown Huntsville to support cycling advocacy.

Huntsville Bicycle Advocacy & Safety Committee

Huntsville has a Bicycle Advocacy & Safety Committee (BASC) that meets regularly in response to increased calls for improved bicycle awareness. Members of the SCCC are among the committee members. City of Huntsville web page is now online. See also the new BikeHuntsville.com web site.
As part of the new Huntsville Bike Plan, we are looking for businesses and offices to approach to install bike parking and apply for the league of American Bicyclist (LAB) Bicycle Friendly Business (BFB) status.

Reporting Dangerous Dogs

Click here to see information on the various local animal control agencies for reporting dangerous dogs. Madison and Limestone counties have containment laws, meaning dogs cannot run free off private property. Help out your cycling friends by reporting dangerous dogs.
