Title: Cotaco Backroads 40 (NRLB ride)

Description: No Rider Left Behind (NRLB) Ride. It is a moderate and beautiful ride of 40 miles with some rollers with an expected average pace of ~14ish-15ish mph. The total cumulative climb is 1300 ft. It goes thru beautiful quiet farmlands, wooded areas and backroads.

Rest Stops: Store @ 17 and 27.5 miles. Bring a snack to have at the rest stops.
Also, please bring a cue sheet, and/or loaded Garmin to the ride and also have the phone number of the Ride Leaders and the phone number of at least one friend.
We will monitor Monday’s weather. Again, this is a moderate NRLB ride, but be sure you can do this ride of 40 miles.
Directions to start location: Travel South from Huntsville on Hwy-231 (Memorial Parkway) across the TN River Bridge. Go 3 miles after the bridge & turn right on AL-36 at the flashing yellow light. Travel on Al-36 for ~8.3 miles to the intersection of Cotaco Florette Road. Turn right on Cotaco School Rd and the School will be ~0.1 mile from the intersection. Turn left into the parking lot.
